Does it show up in safe mode? reason I ask is when I select in safe mode the user as Admin. only a few programs show up huh now if I select my name in safe mode all programs show up and run weird huh?
I'm shown in Users accounts as Administrator/name one and the same...

yeah, i don't get it--i am shown as admin/name, and i can log on just as admin in safe mode. under admin/name it works. under safe mode, it starts to load and then hangs! sad

Soo, what is the answer? I would like to know as I didn't catch it at the Pit. I just recently installed Diskeeper Lite.

Thanks

Sorry I am posing a question on this subject as I have a similar question (I do not understand the "poll" thing when posting a question!!)
My OS is 98SE.
I have Diskeeper 7 installed. AFTER a defrag I still have three lines of "red" lines (fragmented files) and reduced Hard Disk space.
THE MESSAGE READS : "Drive C has 1% of files fragmented and a total of 40% of its data in fragmented files"
My hard disk space was 58% and is now down to 29%. I have deleted lots of stuff and it appears not to make one bit of difference.
If someone can give me advise on how to reduce this fragmentation, I will be eternally grateful.
Thanks and regards.
